President Malcolm Davison

What a good year we have had! All law suits have been dismissed. We have taken action against Financial Institutions and have been making headway. We have made offers to owners to settle accounts and have been successful. We still have a few that continue to ignore their agreements to pay their dues, those we are looking to evict the renters, foreclose on owners and seek judgements by going after their personnel assets. But for the most part a kind conversation and a good offer made the difference. I want to thank those members that are and have caught up their accounts, THANK YOU! I also want to thank all of the members that have made a difference in our community with the continued planting, painting, & lighting. Thank you Dale, Judy & Brian Mauro, Bob & Joyce Sgarlato, Paul & Sylvie Licausi Jr., Bob & Sandy Humphrey, Tom & Young Pehl & Dave & Gerry Murphy.

The best news is that the empty homes that we have had in our community are strting to sell. I want to welcome our new neighbors;

Tim & Teresa Mehaffey Lot 80, 2819 Serenity Circle South, David "Eric" & Wende Schmidt Lot 33, 2804 Serenity Circle South & Kevin & Pat Austin have purchased Patience property Lot 76, 2604 Palm Lake Avenue.

As President of the Board of Directors I will continue to keep the board open to all members to bring suggestions and be a part of all meetings. We are here to serve the members. The Board of Directors after the elections in December are; Malcolm Davison, President, David Murphy, 1st Vice President, Tom Pehl, 2nd Vice President, Michelle Skibit, Secretary & Jay Stewart, Treasure.

Should you have any questions or need any assistance please contact us at BOD@palmlakegardens.com we will try to promply contact you.

Goals for our associaton

Under construction

The Board of Directors have taken a new approach to the problem of abandoned properties (foreclosed, Bankruptcy) and properties that are in arrears. The Members in this community that strive to pay their association fees on time and keep their properties looking nice in an effort to keep property values high in the Market today deserve better. Palm Lake Gardens has Covenants that every owner agreed to when they purchased property in our community. These Covenants restrict and require certain processes when making changes. It also directs the officers of the Community in leveling fines when these processes are not adhered to. We are having battles with Bank owned property refusing to take proper care. We are going after the banks and the owners that do not contribute as outlined in the Covenants. By this we will be using collection agencies, foreclosures by the association and any other LEGAL means that is at our disposal. It is sad when the few owners in our community shrug off their responsibilities on the other 95%. We have a beautiful Community, it takes time, money and effort to keep it that way. Keeping it that way only adds to the value of your property. I want to thank those that have stepped up and made an effort to catch up on accounts that were in arrears. It is greatly appreciated.
